La Grave is a certified UN Science Translator and Interpreter with over 20 years of experience in Document Translation, Interpreting, Website Localization, Video/Audio Transcription, Foreign Language DTP, Language-cultural Consulting Services and Voice-Over Narration. She has the ability to translate and interpret simultaneously with perfect knowledge of topics, jargon, vocabulary, and languages used at very high levels were knowledge, culture, and adaptability requires an expert in this profession. Mrs. La Grave has an extensive background in translating for science and IT.
For almost a decade, La Grave served as Chief Translator and Multicultural Education and Outreach Coordinator for the National Center for Atmospheric Research, NCAR, the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research, UCAR. She has been responsible for translating thousands of pages for science journals, reports, books, presentations, websites for NASA, The White House office of Climate Education, National Labs (NOAA, LASP, SSI, INSTARR), the City of Boulder, Boulder County, books, authors, scientists, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Reports and most recently, the Third National Climate Change Assessment Report -(NCA3), Washington’s Health care Website and most recently the museum and library exhibits for the National Institute of Health, Discover Health.
